NORMI PARTNERS WITH INSURANCE OFFICE OF AMERICA
New Alliance Provides Unprecedented Coverage
Abita Springs, La.
September 26, 2006
The National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (NORMI) has partnered with Insurance Office of America, it was announced today. The partnership will allow NORMI members to purchase
individual errors and omissions and general liability insurance. The remediation and mold inspector industry does not generally offer liability insurance to individual inspectors &
remediators.
"This is a huge change for the industry," said Doug Hoffman, Normi Executive Director. "To be able to offer our members coverage at a great rate is basically unheard of. Our members can now market
themselves as certified and insured experts within the mold and remediation business. With each level of certification we strive to offer tools for success. This puts NORMI in a great position to
partner with other groups within the industry as well."
"I'm very pleased with this relationship with Normi and its members," said Rod Morton, Insurance of America, Senior Vice President. "We are able to provide NORMI members with various insurance
products that have not been readily available to them until now."
