The human imagination may be among the [...]

NORMI NATIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE

Abita Springs, LA
May 20, 2009

NORMI has scheduled its first National Training Conference for January 18-21, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. Four days of specific training to support NORMI professionals with provide over 19 short courses, at least 6 Certification trainings, and an opportunity to network with a dozen trainers and an expected 500 NORMI trained professionals.

"We have made plans to do this kind of Training Conference for a very long time," reported NORMI Executive Director Doug Hoffman. "NORMI Training Conference 2009 will become an annual event where we will pull the entire NORMI team together to support, network, and help each other succeed. Having in it the beautiful city of Orlando in the month January just makes this event even more enticing--especially to our 'snowbird' members."

NORMI, the National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (www.BestTrainingSchool.com) has trained several thousand professionals in mold, indoor air quality, chemical applications and other environmental issues. Its reach is becoming international with active members in Canada, Brazil, Portugal, and the UK. As an approved training provider for many organizations including A.I.A., activTek Environmental, Anabec, and several states, NORMI continues to experience explosive growth filling the void in mold industry training.

"And we have some pretty cool plans for our attendees," continued Mr. Hoffman. "EnviroScreening will be introducing a new Biodegradable Green Index that will help professionals and clients determine the true 'green nature' of chemicals they may want to use. We've planned a family outing, for those interested, to EPCOT and Pleasure Island. And Della White, our Director of Education, has put together a program for women called W.I.N. (Women in NORMI) specifically designed for women who work, or support those who work, in the mold industry. As I suggested, this training will be very comprehensive."

Lance Eisen, NORMI COO observed, "By partnering with Infraspection, our conference thermography partner, our members will get yet another opportunity to be exposed to virtually every aspect of their industry. The vendor area will bring together manufacturers of testing equipment, chemicals, and IAQ solutions as well as companies who want to provide valuable services to our membership. It's just another way we can continue the offer the level of support our incredible members deserve."

The NORMI Training Conference 2009 details and registration forms can be located at conference.normi.org or you can call 877.251.2296. Limited sleeping rooms at reduced rates are available on a first come first serve basis.
