NORMI CERTIFICATION PROCESS
The Certification Review Fee offers three options of ACTIVE Membership attached to the process.
(ACTIVE Membership may be purchase separately if class fee includes certification)
CMI—NORMI Certified Mold Inspector
Investigates Indoor Air Quality and Mold problems and develops an IAQ Profile for the purpose of offering either Mold Sanitization or Mold Remediation recommendations.
a) High School Diploma or GED
b) Completes CMI Quiz (70% Passing Grade)
c) Submits CMI Final Project (screening kit included in Review Fee)
d) Remits Certification Review Fee ($200.00)
CMA—NORMI Certified Mold Assessor
The Certified Mold Assessor class is an advanced CMI course that includes an additional two days to the, already successful and effective, CMI one day course. This program is designed to be more intense and more comprehensive than the CMI course and will, in some cases, qualify the attendee to meet a 24 hours training requirement being established by some states for the Mold Assessor licensing now under consideration.
a) Holds NORMI CMI Certification
b) Completes CMA Quiz (70% Passing Grade)
c) Submits ONE Certificate of Sanitization (fee included in Review Fee)
d) Remits Certification Review Fee ($400.00)
CMR—NORMI Certified Mold Remediator
Recognized, licensed, and insured as a Mold Remediator. The Certified Mold Remediator is trained in all aspects of Mold Inspection, Mold Sanitization, and Mold Remediation techniques.
a) High School Diploma or GED
b) Completes CMR Quiz (70% Passing Grade)
c) Submits Work Experience Resume
d) Submits Certificate of Insurance (NORMI Co-endorsed)
e) Remits Certification Review Fee ($400.00)
CBA—NORMI Certified Biocide Applicator
Applies approved, green technology, safe and proven anti-microbials, protectants, encapsulates, biocides, and other chemicals for the prevention and control of surface microbes including mold, bacteria, and algae.

b) Completes CBA Quiz (70% Passing Grade)
c) Remits Certification Review Fee ($100.00)
QST—NORMI Qualified Sampling Technician
Indoor Air Quality has become a hot topic because many customers are beginning to understand that there are many problems associated with bad indoor air. The QST is trained in the seven components of indoor air and taught how to address each. This class is divided into two major sections: IAQ and the IAQ Management Program, a program specifically designed to solve IAQ problems in a wholistic way.

c) Remits Certification Review Fee ($50.00)
PSP—NORMI Professional Screening Partner
If you sell indoor air quality products and services you need to be trained on assessing indoor environments. This program is designed to train IAQ Professionals in a solution-based assessment process that includes surveying the customer for perceived IAQ problems, evaluating the indoor environment and quantifying those problems, and offering solutions that are wholistic and represent the latest technologies for IAQ management. HVAC Contractors, Home Inspectors, Facility Maintenance Directors, and other IAQ Professionals will be trained in effective ways to solve indoor environmental issues.

CIS—NORMI Certified IAQ Specialist
This program is a 1-Day training which provides a comprehensive look at the indoor air quality industry, its vertical markets, and technologies manufactured to resolve IAQ problems in both residential and commercial environments.

CFS—NORMI Certified Formaldehyde Screener
The CFS has completed a course on formaldehyde, the sources in our indoor environments, its deleterious health affects, screening processes to establish baselines and improvements, and methods by which formaldehyde in indoor environments may be substantially reduced and managed. The first training of its kind is offered to the public and IAQ professionals who are concerned about reducing and managing formaldehyde levels and other VOCs. Professionals are trained in utilizing both formaldehyde and microbe sampling to create healthier environments indoors.

AAA—NORMI Certified Advanced Anabec Applicator
This program is a 1-Day class which provides a comprehensive look at the fastest-growing area of the mold prevention Industry. The focus of this class is targeted to train professionals in the applications of warrantied products on both New Construction and Mold Remediation projects.
