NORMI to Hold Certified Mold Inspector Class for Business Certification
Build a Business by Helping People
(New Orleans, La.) The National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (NORMI) will be holding both a Certified Mold Inspector (CMI) class and a Certified Biocide Applicator (CBA) course Tuesday October 17th at the Wingate Inn- Charlotte Airport, located at 4238 Business Center Drive. The CMI class will be from 8:30- 4:30 and the CBA course will be later in the evening from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Participants of the CMI class will learn the five accepted testing techniques that are used as the standard for developing an accurate evaluation of the indoor air quality of an environment. They will learn how to use the assessment interview process to develop a clear and concise IAQ profile for determining a solution protocol and learn how to write the sanitization protocol by understanding how to differentiate between sanitization and remediation, so the consumer can be correctly directed toward the proper solution of their indoor quality issues. When sanitization is preferred, the inspector may, at his discretion, offer solutions to avoid the possible future of a more costly remediation process.
The eight hour class is designed to train the aspiring entrepreneur in how to start a stand alone business in the mold industry. The class is also for existing contractors such as air conditioning, remodeling, building contractors, pest control applicators or others that are interested in developing an additional income stream.
NACHI members may use this class for seven hours of continuing education towards their NACHI membership. The NORMI CMI course is also approved for two of ASHI membership renewal credits.
The CBA (Certified Biocide Applicator) course is designed to train the applicator in the proper use and benefits of NORMI approved anti-microbials, protectants, encapsulates, and enzyme cleaners. This course is REQUIRED for those who would use these products for the NORMI Healthier Home Warranty.
The special priced CMI course is priced at $249.00 as compared to the regular price of $449.00. The CBA course is priced at $99.00. Payments can be made online at www.BestTrainingSchool.com or by calling the enrollment team 800-419-0539.
