WARRANTY PROGRAM

 

The NORMI Warranty Program is designed to follow the Warranty Protocol that has been added to any Certificate of Sanitization.  The Warranty is a three-year renewable program based on an annual compliance review.

 

Details of WARRANTY PROGRAM

 

STAGE ONE—NORMI CERTIFICATE of SANITIZATIONSM PLUS ($150)

This warranty is based on the issuance of a Certificate of Sanitization PLUS (following Protocol #6—PLUS Protocol) that gives the homeowner the first six months warranty.  The additional steps required for the Certificate of Sanitization PLUS can be added to any of the NORMI Protocols for a NORMI Certificate of SanitizationSM.  In all cases, NORMI will have the right to require more than the printed requirements should the condition of the building require such and NORMI reserves the right to refuse continuance of the warranty at its discretion based on evaluation of materials submitted to NORMI for continuance.

STAGE TWO—ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REVIEW ($99)

When the warranty begins, a NORMI dated label will be placed on the water heater or HVAC system evidencing the beginning of the warranty and the label will be good for one full year from the start date.  In addition, a NORMI Mold Air Monitor will be placed next to the HVAC Thermostat evidencing the 36 month warranty and will remain in place as long as the warranty is in force.  The homeowner may purchase such Air Monitor for $199.00 MSRP.

  • NORMI Protectant Maintenance Schedule reviewed with homeowner.
  • ATP Luminometer Screening report forwarded to NORMI and additional application of NORMI Approved Protectant to Touchpoints Priority 1 and 2 where necessary.
  • Downloaded Air Monitor information forwarded to NORMI for review.  Anomalies will be evaluated and a determination made regarding continuance of the program based on possible suggested remedies, if any.
  • Verify HVAC Service Contract is in place and evaluate compliance with it.
  • Replenish supplies of current NORMI Approved cleaners, protectants, disinfectants, enzyme cleaners, etc.
  • Visually inspect IAQ Solutions (uv lights, filter, ozone plates, etc.)
  • Re-educate on Mold-Free Sanitization Protocol and interview for compliance.
  • Provide new dated label for the water heater or HVAC system

STAGE THREE—36 MONTH RENEWAL ($99)

 

This process extends the warranty for an additional 36 months with the same annual compliance review.  A new medallion is provided to replace the old.

  • Fog the building with NORMI Approved Protectant according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Visually inspect and replace, if required, UV, filters, ozone plates, or whatever changeable parts need replacing on the IAQ solution.
  • NORMI Protectant Maintenance Schedule reviewed
  • ATP Luminometer Screening report forwarded to NORMI and additional application of NORMI Approved Protectant to Touchpoints Priority 1 and 2 where necessary..
  • Verify HVAC Service Contract compliance
  • Replenish supplies of current NORMI Approved cleaners, protectants, disinfectants, enzyme cleaners, etc.
  • Re-educate on Mold-Free Sanitization Protocol and interview for compliance.
  • Provide new dated label for the water heater or HVAC system.
