Consumers using this directory are encouraged to verify the current status of a professional’s certifications, insurance coverage, bonding, and any licensure required by the municipality in which they operate prior to hiring.

NORMIPro: These professionals represent the highest level of NORMI training and are qualified to work with clients who are environmentally sensitive to mold and other microbial contaminants.  With guidance from the NORMI Medical Advisory Board, they apply science-based expertise to every project and, when appropriate, follow the NORMI Medically-Sound Level 4 Protocol for assessment, sanitization, and remediation.

ACTIVE: These professionals are an active part of the NORMI network, are keeping their certifications current and bringing value to the industry.

Inactive: These professionals have been trained by NORMI.


Certifications

CMA (Certified Mold Assessor) – This professional has taken the proper course material, passed the proctored NORMI™ certification examination, and met the licensing requirements for the state he’s working in to perform microbial assessments, write protocol, and oversee projects in the areas of sanitization and/or remediation.

CMR (Certified Mold Remediator) – This professional has taken the proper course material, passed the proctored NORMI™ certification examination, and met the licensing requirements for the state he’s working in to perform microbial remediation, typically under the direction of a professional IEP or CMA.

NCCI™ (NORMI Certified Contents Inspector) – This professional does microbial inspections on contents that have been moved from one location to another under the direction of the CPPC (Claims Prevention and Procedures Council).

NCSP™ (NORM Certified Sanitization Professional) – This professional has taken the proper course material, passed the proctored NORMI™ certification examination and been specifically trained in the sanitization process of indoor environments.

NCIAQS™ (NORMI Certified Indoor Air Quality Specialist) – This indoor air quality professional has taken the proper course material, passed the proctored NORMI™ certification examination and been specifically trained in the newest technologies that support all types of indoor air quality equipment, its placement and effectiveness in purifying the air and surfaces in indoor environments.
