| This is the NORMI Certified Mold Assessor (CMA) course which prepares the student to work as an assessor in the mold profession. This training course includes THREE (3) days of onsite class work, providing documented mold, moisture, and respiratory protection training required for Florida license. CLASSROOM: Instruction to include training on mold, moisture, moisture intrusion, IR moisture thermal imaging, assessment, report writing, containment, remediation techniques, protocol writing and standards of practice. WORKSHOP: Hands-on Remediation workshop in the areas of Assessment sampling, Building containment, Negative pressure, and Appropriate PPE. *EXAM: Students have the option to sit for both exams (for an additional fee) as material is covered for both Remediator and Assessor. NORMI Certification and examination are separate processes provided to active NORMI members only.
